Mr. Abraham De Los Reyes, Jr. is currently appointed as the National Assistant Technology Director of United Federation of Filipino American Educators (UNIFFIED, Inc.).

He is a Computer Science Teacher currently serving Sonoran Science Academy East in Tucson, Arizona, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He is our chapter’s Technology Director of UNIFFIED Arizona and Board Member of Computer Science Teachers Association - Southern Arizona.

In 2024, he was recognized nationally as one of the CSTA Computer Science Teacher Excellence National Award winner, PAEMST Presidential Award 2024 Nominee, 10 Arizona Filipino Teacher of the Year. Also, in the year 2021, he was recognized as the Teacher of the Year of Baton Rouge International School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Sir Abraham is a mentor to students in robotics, guiding them through competitive and innovative projects that not only showcase their technical skills but also foster teamwork, and problem-solving. As a speaker in the field of computer science, he brings both expertise inspiration to educators and learners alike, sharing best practices, new trends, and practical applications in classroom.

Ms. Princess Ann A. Halasan is currently appointed as the National Assistant Membership Director of United Federation of Filipino American Educators (UNIFFIED, Inc.).

This highly spirited educator from Mandaue City, Cebu serves as the Assistant Secretary of UNIFFIED Arizona. She is a dedicated High School English Language Arts teacher in Casa Grande, Arizona and worked as a teacher in Brazil for five years before moving to the U.S. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English and a Master’s degree in Psychology, equipping her with a deep understanding of people, communication, and community building which are the key strengths in membership engagement and support.

She has proven her leadership and service through meaningful initiatives such as the Tag Sale and Zumba for a Cause, reflecting her strong commitment to advocacy, collaboration, and outreach. She has also represented her chapter with professionalism in national platforms like the UNIFFIED Summit and the Salindunong PD Series.

What sets Ms. Halasan apart is not only her ability to connect, organize, and mobilize educators but also her vibrant, youthful energy, creativity, and fresh perspective, which inspire participation and build stronger relationships across our growing network.

With her passion for strengthening community, she serves as the Secretary of Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Arizona (PACCA).

When I say that Arizona has a lot to offer, I mean it big time! We’ve got some amazing Filipino teachers, and now our newly appointed national officers are proof of that! Congratulations to Ethel Inocian of Casa Grande Elementary School District for being the Documentation Director, Abraham Delos Reyes of Sonoran Science Academy in Tucson for being the Assistant Technology Director (He is one of the recipient of National Teacher of Excellence Award for Computer Science) and Princess Ann Halasan of Casa Grande for being the Assistant Membership Director.
