Sonoran Glass School

Sign up now for this fun fusing class where you use glass to mimic a plaid pattern on your glass. Choose either one 6x6 or two 4x4 inch glass bases. There are many color options and you can leave your finished piece flat or have it slumped into a plate. No experience required for this class. Sign up at sonoranglass.org

Choose between one 6x12 or two 6x6in bases and create your own painted stained glass masterpiece! We have ideas for you here or draw your design before you come, but this two part class meets twice and you need to be able to attend both days. August 11th and 18th from 11-2pm. Internship opportunity! If you have ever wanted to see how an art focused non profit is run, need fun college credits, or want to learn more about glass while helping out, then we have just the job for you! Interns help with events, educational programs, gallery assistance, marketing, and general operations. This is an unpaid internship but can earn students college credit. Join us in the air conditioned Warm Shop for Fused Flowers! For just $75 you get to make multiple flowers which can be arranged as a bouquet or displayed separately. Jonathan Russell will be teaching how to Draw in Glass using stringers and borosilicate glass. Let your creativity shine and turn your pieces into jewelry, smoking accessories, and more! This one day only class will be held Saturday, August 22nd from 2-5pm. Previous experience suggested, but not required. All materials and guided instruction will be provided.
