Thank you, St. Mark's UMC, Tucson, for standing with immigrant and mixed-status families in Tucson. 🧡

We are honored to share that members of their congregation raised an incredible $5,500 for our Juntos Fund through their Easter Offering.

Because of supporters like St. Mark's and donors like you, we can continue providing critical assistance to families facing detention, deportation, or loss of legal status.

A special shoutout to Patricia Small for making this gift possible by connecting us with St. Mark’s. After 35 years with the Sunnyside Unified School District, Patricia continues to be a passionate supporter of the Sunnyside community and a wonderful ally to our work.

Together, we are helping our neighbors navigate uncertainty with dignity, hope, and support.

We did it, Comunidad! 🎉

Thanks to your support, our Monthly Food and Toiletry Distributions project was selected as one of the winning initiatives in Ward 1’s Budget de la Gente program. 🙌

We now have $10,000 in funding to continue providing nutritious food and pantry staples to our neighbors, while expanding our efforts to supply toiletries to the families we serve.

Stay tuned for announcements about our next food distribution event! 🥫

Last year, with the support of Barrio Restoration, Tucson Clean and Beautiful, Tucson Council Member Lane Santa Cruz, Tucson Ward 5 Council Member Selina Barajas, and the City of Tucson - Government, we launched a series of 5 cleanups with one shared goal:

To plant a seed. 🌿

A seed that inspires cleaner barrios, helps reduce heat in vulnerable areas across Tucson’s Southside, and most importantly brings people together. Because at the heart of it all, this work is about building community and connecting with YOU.

Take a moment to watch our reel to learn more about this project and hear directly from our partners about why these initiatives matter so much for our families and barrios. 🧡
