: Mary Cordova has been a fixture of Charger pride for 30 incredible years at Cholla High School, serving 14 years as attendance clerk before stepping into her current role as registrar 16 years ago! For Laura, the absolute best part of the job is the people: the vibrant students, the amazing faculty, and the unmatched district support that keeps the Cholla community feeling like one big family. That connection runs deep in her personal life, too — all three of her children are proud TUSD graduates, including her eldest son, whom she was carrying when her Cholla journey first began! Outside of school, she loves making memories with her family and friends and enjoying fun trips to the casino. We are so grateful for Laura's three decades of unwavering devotion, hard work, and heart at Cholla High — once a Charger, always a Charger!

: Mary Carpio, Administrative Secretary at Cholla High School, is a proud 1984 Cholla graduate whose deep roots in Tucson Unified span an extraordinary 30 years of service! Before bringing her dedication to Cholla 20 years ago, Mary began her TUSD journey supporting students as a teacher assistant at both Hollinger K-8 and Holladay Elementary. For Mary, working at her alma mater is a true full-circle experience — her favorite part of the job is helping students, parents, and staff get wherever they need to be each day. Outside of school, she stays busy remodeling her home, spending quality time with family and friends, and working outdoors in her garden planting fresh vegetables and flowers. We are so grateful for Mary’s 30 years of heart, leadership, and Charger pride across our district!
