The Charismatic Voice

I recently attended the release party of and I could not be more impressed by the team of creatives who made their love for music into a video game.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, please do! The humor in this game will have you smiling for eternity. I especially am enjoying playing it on my steam deck, but it’s on tons of platforms.

Shout out to for his utter brilliance and determination in imagining, designing, pitching, and pulling together the amazing people who brought to life his masterpiece.

Shout out to who also worked on the game, and is one of the most gorgeous humans I know inside and out. And silly.

Wishing these two lovebirds (my parents) 50 more happy years together.

Yes, they got married on April Fool's Day. They're that ridiculously playful.

They've also set a high bar for marriage. There are so few couples that I see who are genuinely happy and feel so lucky to have met... especially after 50 years. Mom and Dad are still completely twitterpated.

They call themselves "Fools Forever."

This silly family is starting a new adventure. What should we call it?

It's always been a dream of mine to travel with family. I love learning about the world through hands-on experience, and I love creating vivid memories where every sense is involved in imprinting life lessons.

So, we're starting a hybrid lifestyle similar to world schooling. We're planning to go to various destinations for an extended period of time (ideally between 2-4 weeks) and build education of the boys into our daily lives abroad. We want to live and breathe culture, and explore how rhythms of life differ around the globe. We'll film experiences and create projects that are based on our family interests, and also based on ideas that our audience has.

What should our family travel & education channel be called?

We're doing a test run in Sedona (5 hour drive from our home) this week. Already, I have so many things that I want to improve/forgot to bring along. Even if I don't have the right memory card for that camera, we're still testing out filming and making things work. As Grandma likes to say - be flexible or be miserable.

One of the best parts of all of this is that it won't affect our regular releases on The Charismatic Voice. In fact, I hope it will influence them with more in-person concerts around the world! We're planning to do around 1 month away and 2 months back, although of course that will *be flexible* to our destinations and event schedules.

I enjoyed my birthday focusing on solid quality time with each of my three boys: playing piano with Kaladin's tiny feet, picking out a birthday cake with (really for) Mycroft), and tasting fancy southwestern cuisine with Kirk . I'll post some food pics in stories, because WOW it was so creative and unique!

Every day that we get to build memories with loved ones is special to me. While birthdays remind us to take time to focus on things & people we love most, I hope that all of us don't forget to continue prioritizing what matters most: each other.

Some days I just feel like crawling into a corner. Life can be dark at times, and my heart is hurting right now for personal reasons.

We all have days like this. How do you face them?

I choose to face today with a cup of tea, several deep breaths, and comfy socks.

I choose to deliberately connect, even when I feel like retracting.

You do not get to choose how the day goes, but you do get to choose how you face it.
