We REALLY want to tell you about a Blacksmithing class coming up at Xerocraft! (Except there's a bot that doesn't like the word for a hand held sharp tool.) So if you want to hand forge your very own kay-en-eye-eff-eee, check out the class coming up on July 26.
Blacksmiths are the OG Makers, and the forge is at Xerocraft!

"How can I call Xerocraft?"
Well, you can't. Not really, anyway.
Xerocraft is supported almost entirely by dedicated, but super busy volunteers and much of the time there is no one available to answer the phone.
We used to have a phone number, but it only got spam calls asking about our car warranty.
So to reach someone at Xerocraft, email is best. If you know what shop you want to connect with, you can use "contact us" widget on the shop pages on our website. That will be sent to the specific shop manager.
For general inquiries, email [email protected]. (Please be patient, that goes to a volunteer, too!)
We absolutely want to help you and answer your questions, we just need to do it via email.
If all else fails, stop in on a Saturday afternoon between 1pm and 4pm and we'll give you a complete tour and do our best to answer any questions. We'd love to see you and show you the shop.

JUNE 18 PARKING UPDATE:
Free parking in southwest corner of Franklin Lot:
There is now free parking in the corner of the Franklin Docks parking lot east of the warehouse (see map). This is a temporary location the city is giving to us due to the upcoming closure of N 9th Ave.
Parking in southwest corner of Franklin Lot anytime, parking on N 9th Ave sometimes:
Take a look at the map for the most up to date parking options and nearby road closures. The options out front remain basically the same (i.e. you can park in the southwest corner of the Franklin Lot anytime and on N 9th Ave outside of construction hours).
Wheelchair ramp is inaccessible:
9th Ave is being torn up. The corridor of chain link fence leading to the ramp has been removed. We currently have no wheelchair access out front of the warehouse.
You may park in the dirt lot directly west of the Steinfeld Warehouse, across Perry Ave when parking on 9th Ave is unavailable. You may also park in the back yard if there's room and you have access. If possible, you may want to carpool or use alternative modes of transportation to get here.
Free parking in Dunbar Spring, the neighborhood directly north of our building, on the north side of the railroad tracks. With the pedestrian walkway over the train tracks almost finished, it's never been faster to park there and get to Xerocraft. If you're bringing items with you, you may want to stop at Xerocraft first to unload, then go park in Dunbar and walk back.
You can also park east of our building in the Franklin Street Parking Lot at 50 W. Franklin Street but a pass or a $3 fee is required, depending on the time. Changes have been made to the chain link fence surrounding the area to make it possible to park in the Franklin lot and walk directly to our building.
If possible, you may want to carpool or use alternative modes of transportation to get here. To learn more about getting to Xerocraft on SunTran, go to https://xerocraft.org/pages/parking-update -tran-bus-shuttle-and-streetcar-routes.
