Purple is mostly blue. I hope if you are purple, you are too.

BLUE IS TRUE

For the past 35 years of my life, I have been fighting for victims of crime, targeted due to their vulnerabilities as marginalized populations within our pejorative society. I have sacrificed family time, the ability to save for my future, and my own ambitions for these causes - because I believed in you, the American people.

Sadly, I have found my faith in America to diminish, as I see almost half of our society supporting Trump. Typically, I would accept that there are many ways to look at America and how to run it, but, I do not believe that Trump has our best interests at heart.

He has shown us, time and time again, that his aim is to dismantle our constitution so that he can have ultimate power. I don’t understand why half of our population can’t see this, or can see it, and simply don’t care, as long as they can benefit financially.

The MAGA party call themselves patriots, but true patriots would not allow someone like Trump to get into office and implement project 2025, which aims to eliminate all of the protections for which I’ve spent hours fighting to maintain, taking away our Social Security, our freedom, and the country at least half of us have come to love, and many of us have lost beloved veterans to fight for.

Trump is a disgrace to our country, and an insult to those who have died or lost loved ones to the many wars we’ve fought in order to create and maintain it.

I wish I could say that I’m speaking rhetoric, and that I have somehow been bamboozled into believing all these things. Unfortunately, I have no grounds to view these beliefs as myths that I might be perpetuating about the man.

Time and time again, Trump reinforces our criticisms and validates our fears. He is not hiding his nefarious intentions.

So, I must ask, are those who are voting for Trump true Americans? How could they be? They know he aims to dismantle the constitution and turn America into Dictatorship, with him at the helm.

All I can gather is that they are tired of helping the poor or the marginalized, failing to see the truth to save face. Or, maybe they are tired of being held account for their contribution to poverty and crime.

This election , we are not simply choosing between frugality and bleeding heart politics. We are choosing between evil and good. We are choosing between destroying America and surrendering our freedom, or building America into the country. It was meant to be.

Normally, I would not be so harsh or critical of those who disagree with me. But I feel like my life’s work is on the line. I am grieving all of the years of my sacrifice for this country, and all of the lives lost for not, to preserve a democracy that nearly half of our country is willing to let die.

Even if Trump loses, and fails to steal this election as his self reported, Plan B, he has already captured the souls of many, otherwise good citizens with his clever cherry picking campaigns, full of lies. If nothing else, I grieve for them. They have been inducted into a cult that they can’t even recognize us such, and will one day many of them will live to regret it.

If Trump wins, Putin wins.
It is that simple.
