Introducing the Grand Master’s emblem for New Jersey — a symbol rich in meaning, purpose, and Masonic values. Below is a brief explanation of the symbolism behind the design.
NJ Grand Master Logo – Meaning & Symbolism
This emblem was thoughtfully designed to reflect the principles, responsibilities, and vision of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey during my term as Grand Master.
The Sword is not an instrument of aggression, but of righteous judgment. It symbolizes justice and moral authority, reminding us that leadership must always be exercised with wisdom, fairness, and integrity.
The Scales represent balance and impartial judgment, calling every Mason to strive to act without prejudice and to weigh all matters carefully and fairly.
The Shield signifies protection and integrity, reflecting our duty to defend one another, uphold the principles of the Craft, and preserve the honor of our lodges.
The Square and Compasses with the letter “G” affirm that all our actions are grounded in faith, moral discipline, and accountability—not only to each other, but more importantly to the Great Architect of the Universe.
“Educate, Elevate, Empower” expresses the vision of this administration: to strengthen our membership through knowledge, leadership, and meaningful service.
Together, these symbols serve as a reminder to us ALL to act justly, lead wisely, and protect the enduring values of Freemasonry.
