🔬 USPOULTRY and the USPOULTRY Foundation are now accepting nominations for the Dr. Charles Beard Research Excellence Award! Nominations due July 1.
This prestigious award honors outstanding completed research projects funded by USPOULTRY or the Foundation that have had a transformative impact on the poultry industry. Nominations are open to universities, research institutions and individuals within the poultry research community, including USPOULTRY members, staff and sponsored committee members. Self-nominations are also accepted.
Nominations should primarily highlight projects completed within the past five years; older projects may be considered if their significant impact has only recently become evident.
To nominate: Send an email to Dr. Denise Heard, VP of Research, with the nominee’s name, brief description of accomplishments, and summary of industry impact.
The winner receives round-trip travel + 2 nights lodging to attend , a $1,500 cash prize, presentation at the USPOULTRY Chair’s Reception, and recognition at the International Poultry Scientific Forum.
