Stadium Light Show Safety Notice – First Home Game Tonight

As we get ready for our first home game tonight, TCUSD is excited to welcome our students, families, staff, and community to our newly rebuilt stadium for the first home game of the season.

As part of the game-night experience, TCUSD will also be featuring a stadium light show with flashing and changing lights.

Guests who may be sensitive to flashing or bright lights, including those with photosensitive epilepsy, seizure disorders, migraines, or other light sensitivities, are encouraged to review the safety notice and take appropriate precautions.

We are excited to celebrate this special evening in our newly rebuilt stadium and look forward to seeing everyone come together to support our Warriors.

Important Community Notice – Lunar Eclipse Tonight, August 27
TCUSD Families and Community,
Superintendent Randall Scott Nedrow would like to share an important notice from the Department of Diné Education regarding the penumbral lunar eclipse occurring tonight, Thursday, August 27, through the early morning hours of Friday, August 28, 2026.

Weather permitting, the eclipse is expected to be visible in our region from approximately 7:40 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Within Diné culture, an eclipse is considered a sacred occurrence and a time for reverence, reflection, prayer, and respect for the natural order and cycle of life. We encourage our families to review the attached Department of Diné Education notice and discuss these important cultural teachings with their children.

TCUSD is honored to respect and support the cultural teachings, traditions, and values of the communities we serve.

Please see the attached letter for the complete guidance and teachings from the Department of Diné Education.

Thank you to our TCUSD families and community for helping us honor and preserve these important traditions.
