Some weeks really do feel like chasing sunrises and sunsets. ❤️

Crack-of-dawn rides to beat the Carolina heat. Morning chores and a little goat time. Lunch & Learn training. Watching Lincoln grow into those very big feet. Team events filled with connection, laughter and learning.

And then, when the work is done, a little quiet time with the herd.

Running Dreamwinds means my days rarely look the same, and I think that might be one of my favorite things about this life.

Horses. People. Teaching. Learning. Building a business I love, and still remembering to make time to simply enjoy the animals who started it all.

Just a week in the life of an EAL facilitator. 🐴

What happens when you take networking out of the meeting room and into the arena?

This morning we welcomed an incredible group of local women to Dreamwinds for a networking event that went well beyond exchanging business cards.

People left having learned more about themselves and each other. Some crushed fears. Others discovered strengths they didn’t know they had. There was problem-solving, trust, communication, plenty of laughter, and a whole lot of cheering each other on.

Because the best connections aren’t built by simply knowing what someone does. They’re built when we get the chance to see who they are.

A pretty great morning with some pretty great women, and of course, some pretty great horses. ❤️

Does it feel like your team is walking on eggshells? Or perhaps feedback meant to be constructive is being taken as a personal attack?

These are common symptoms of a team out of sync, but the cause is often simpler than you think: a mismatch in communication styles.
