🩺✂️ Paging all Word Doctors!

Mrs. Lanford’s first graders put on their scrubs and got to work performing some very important “word surgery!" 🧠📚

Our students carefully examined words, then “operated” by cutting them apart and stitching them back together to create contractions. From “do not” to “don’t” and “cannot” to “can’t,” these young surgeons showed precision, teamwork, and a whole lot of excitement for learning!💙✨

Mrs. Rimer's kindergarteners have been busy learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly—from tiny eggs to crawling caterpillars, forming chrysalises, and finally emerging as beautiful butterflies! 🐛🦋

Today was extra special as they got to experience this process firsthand. After watching and caring for their butterflies every step of the way, our students proudly released them into the world!

What a sweet celebration of growth, change, and new beginnings! 💛

Our Kindergarten and First Grade students visited the Greenville Zoo!🦒🐒

It was such a fun and educational experience as they learned about different species, habitats, and how we can care for God's creatures.💚

A huge THANK YOU to Oh Sip for helping us wrap up a full week of testing with the perfect treat! Our students loved celebrating their hard work with a refreshing (and fun!) dirty soda, and it was such a great way to end the week on a high note.🎉

Not only did they take care of our students, but they also treated our staff to close out Teacher Appreciation Week!🥤✨

After wrapping up their “Understanding Ecosystems at Work” unit, Mrs. Searcy's 4th grade students put their knowledge into action by creating their very own biomes. 🌿🐠🌵
From lush rainforests to dry deserts and everything in between, these projects showcased not only creativity but a deep understanding of how God created plants, animals, and environments to all work together. Each biome was thoughtfully designed to reflect real-world ecosystems and the unique characteristics that make them thrive.

We are so proud of the effort, creativity, and enthusiasm these students displayed—way to go, 4th grade! 👏💚
