Congratulations Vivi on earning your 1st degree black belt on Saturday. I was honored to be your testing partner. You did a great job. Master Smith and Master Barrette were very impressed as well. My only regret is that my Master, Grandmaster Han Young Choi, was not alive to see it. He would have been just as proud of you as I am.

It is with a heavy heart I have to announce that Silent Stream Martial Arts will be closed through April 10. After the Governor's announcement this afternoon, I am forced to make such a tough decision. While I understand the need to be cautious and help to slow the spread of this virus, I will miss working with you all.

Continue to stretch, practice, and work on your technique lists. This too shall pass and we will be back at it. Get some rest and stay safe everyone.
