First things first!

First things first!

Most people think change starts by adding something new to their life.

A new routine. A new habit. A new system they hope will finally push them forward. They keep stacking good intentions on top of a foundation that is already working against them.

But the real problem is often not what you are missing.

It is what is draining you.

One destructive habit can quietly cancel out five positive ones. You can wake up early, read books, exercise, and try to improve yourself, but if a single behavior keeps pulling you backward, progress will always feel slower than it should.

Bad habits leak energy.

They leak time, focus, confidence, discipline, and momentum. They chip away at the foundation that good habits are trying to build.

That is why removing one destructive pattern can create a bigger shift than adding something new.

When you stop the behavior that keeps sabotaging you, everything else you are already doing suddenly works better. Your effort finally compounds instead of constantly fighting resistance.

Progress accelerates.

Before trying to stack more habits on top of your life, it is worth asking a harder question.

What is the one behavior quietly undoing everything else you are trying to build?

Treating others the way we want to be treated

Treating others the way we want to be treated

This is a requirement.

Being considerate means allowing other people to mostly do what they want, so long as it is consistent with our principles, policies, and the law. It also means being willing to put others ahead of your own desires. If the people on both sides of an argument approach their disagreements in this way, we will have many fewer disputes about who is offending whom.
