FCFW NEWS SPECIAL INVESTIGATION: THE SHADOW NETWORK (PART 1)

Tonight, Dick "the Desk Crusher" Loudmouth takes the anchor chair to launch a multi-part series on the Designer Trafficker Shadow Network.

One question leads the board: Who is Richard A. LaFontaine?

Who is this guy? What is this shadow network of high-conflict actors preying on families in crisis? And most importantly, why are they hiding?

FOLLOW THE MONEY: The $5,000 Kentucky Allegation & Paid Media Attacks

When official police bodycam footage proved Dave Weigel was issued a criminal summons, who jumped into the comments to deflect?

Disbarred former attorney Richard Luthmann.

While Luthmann co-hosts a podcast with reporter Michael Volpe, community sources allege that Weigel has paid Luthmann approximately $4,000 per assignment—including an alleged $5,000 payment for a targeted hit piece on Judge Yahr in Lexington, Kentucky.

When Luthmann tried to blame "command influence," Volpe shut down the deflection directly:
"Those questions don't change the central premise. Dave Weigel was served with a summons, despite his numerous protestations to you and me and others for months."

Can an independent commentator remain objective while allegedly taking thousands from the subject of an investigation?

While official police recordings contradict Dave Weigel’s past claims, questions emerge regarding a potential $5,000-per-job financial connection.

PUBLIC RECORDS VS. PUBLIC DENIALS: What the Connecticut Bodycam Shows

For months, Dave Weigel publicly maintained that he was never arrested or served with a summons following a January 15, 2026, incident at his home.

Now, investigative reporter Michael Volpe obtained official New Canaan Police Department bodycam footage and summons records.

On tape, officers tell Weigel directly: "Technically, it’s an arrest—yes sir." Public records show a signed promise-to-appear summons on scene.

When a movement claims to expose fraud, its leaders must stand by their own receipts.
