A Heartfelt Thank You from Cahaba Faculty & Staff!
What an incredible week it was in the "Village"! As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, the faculty and staff at Cahaba Elementary School want to extend a huge thank you to our amazing PTO for coordinating such a thoughtful, creative, and generous week of celebration.
We felt so loved and supported by our community! Here is a recap of the wonderful week we enjoyed:
(Monday)A Sweet Welcome: We were "welcomed to the neighborhood" with a stunning spread of homemade cookies, pound cakes, and treats from our wonderful Cahaba families.
(Tuesday) Fueling Up: We enjoyed a perfect morning pick-me-up with iced coffee and breakfast biscuits, generously sponsored by Vann Pediatric Dentistry.
(Wednesday)Neighborhood Cookout: We had a blast at our sunny, duty-free neighborhood cookout! A special thanks to First Baptist Church Trussville for grilling up delicious hamburgers and hot dogs.
(Thursday) The Neighborhood Market: We took a trip to the "market" for some pampering! We loved our custom market totes filled with goodies including themed t-shirts sponsored by Thomas Cox of MealFit, the permanent jewelry bar by Sister Shirts, and self-care treats from Marcia Newman Segers (Mary Kay). We ended the day with a visit from the Local Sips Food Truck, sponsored by First Methodist Church Trussville
(Friday) The Neighborhood Garden:We wrapped up the week in the garden, planting flower pots courtesy of The Troy Ellis Foundation and NorthPark Church. We stayed refreshed with sweet tea and lemonade from Milo’s Tea as we celebrated a week of growth!
To our PTO and Cahaba Families: Thank you for your hard work, your donations, and your constant encouragement! We are so grateful for you!
