Clay-Chalkville Middle School Band Day is now officially on December 6th! What an honor for the community and for the young students who work so incredibly hard everyday!

This evening, October 7th, at 6:30 PM at the new Clay City Hall (2441 Old Springville Road), the Middle School Band is being honored. A proclamation will be presented to honor the band for past and present accomplishments. The proclamation will be given first and then the council understands that we will not stay for the remainder of the meeting.

If at all possible, please come out and show our appreciation to the City for recognizing the accomplishments of the band! We often speak of the band being overlooked, well now we are being lauded, let's show officials everywhere that we appreciate the recognition of our children in a positive way!

Please enter in through the side door and proceed to the second floor for the ceremony.

We have an in-school Pep Rally this Thursday! Make sure to remember to wear your CCMS Band t-shirt, blue jeans, and have your lyre and flip-folder. Also, we have a performance at the CCMS vs HTMS game that night! Call time is at 5:20 PM in your assigned seat. Early is ON TIME! Don't forget to take your instruments home with you after the Pep Rally for the performance that evening. Parental help would be greatly appreciated during these performances. If interested, please contact the CCMS Band office at (205) 379.3100 ext. 8. Many hands make the work light! Go Cougars!! Looking forward to TWO fantastic performances this Thursday!!
