Hewitt Trussville Middle School is excited to host Unified Basketball 🏀 Wednesday, May 20th during 1st period. All students are encouraged to attend and support their fellow class mates. Admission is $5 cash only and can be paid at the door. A portion of proceeds will go back to the Unified Basketball program.

HTMS Spring Fling is Friday, May 15th! 🎟️ We need your help! scan the QR code to volunteer.🎡 We’re also have a new attraction this year! 📣💦🎈 water balloons! $1 per balloon-come see off your teacher is part of the main event! Cash only! 💵

At The Masters the winner is awarded the coveted green jacket…but at HTMS it’s the green envelope! All week the students stopped in the hallway to write thank you notes to their teachers. Today we got to deliver envelopes full of the sweetest, kindest, and most thoughtful thank you from our students to their teachers. It was amazing to watch all week as they stood there and thought about how much they appreciated all that their teachers at HTMS have done for them this year and in years past! 👏🏻 It was the best way to end the week!

HTMS Champions Lunch⛳️ The teachers enjoyed bbq sandwiches, chips, green jacket salad, cheese biscuits and pound cake with peach ice cream. 🏌️ We also surprised 45 teachers with prizes from our putt putt challenge and giveaway entries! Thank you to Jim and Nicks for helping to provide the bbq sandwiches and cheese biscuits!

HTMS has the BEST tee-chers by par! ⛳️ The teachers swung by the clubhouse to pick up some green, some pimento cheese and chocolate chip cookies. They also made their best guess at how many tees were in the jar-the winner will be announced tomorrow! Thank you to CrossPoint Church for the pimento cheese! 🧀

We’ve made it to the back nine! The teachers have made the turn and stopped for some refreshments and snacks on the beverage cart. ⛳️ They chose an Arnold Palmer 🍋 or an Azalea 🌺 and grabbed a mini Moon Pie and some cheese straws-the signature drinks and snacks of The Masters! Thank you to Icon Trussville for loaning us a beverage cart and to Milo’s for the tea and lemonade.

Breakfast was teed up in the Clubhouse bright and early this morning! ⛳️ Thank you to Jack’s on Hwy 11 and to First Baptist Church Trussville for helping to provide breakfast!

It’s Masters Week at HTMS ⛳️ A middle school unlike any other! ⛳️ Our teachers picked up their player pass, a cookie, entered a drawing for prizes and hit the green to putt for extra entries onto the drawing. ⛳️ The students started writing sweet notes to teachers thanking them ‘fore’ all they do. ⛳️ The opening round is in the books!
