Hirano Ha Karate of Trussville We are a school of martial arts that teaches traditional, authentic Shotokan Karate Do, using instructional methods influenced by Soke Kiyohisa Hirano.

At our school, we teach traditional, authentic Shotokan Karate and Okinawan weapons (Kobudo) in a way that allows our students to reach and exceed their potentials. We place a heavy emphasis on developing proper fundamental technique, and through constant repetition and conditioning, our students develop a greater aptitude for physical conditioning as well as mental discipline. Our instructors are highly experienced professionals, and are eager to help the students learn. We welcome everyone to our school, and look forward to helping our students to the best of our abilities.

Remember, today is "Bring Your Buddy" night at the dojo.

We will be having one class at 600 PM today (Monday, August 24) to give everyone their first day Karate lesson.

This is just a reminder that the "Bring Your Buddy Night" that was scheduled for this Monday on Jan 26, has been moved to Monday, Feb 02, due to the inclement weather.

Classes may be cancelled, depending on the weather. Just as a guideline, if the Trussville city schools are closed, then the dojo will be closed as well.

Updates will be posted on this page as the storm gets closer.
