Big day for THS Athletics! Our Baseball team is competing in the State Championship game today at 12 PM at Palmer Field in Middletown, CT. Come out and show your Eagle Pride and help us cheer them on! We also want to wish our girls 4x800 relay team the best of luck today as they represent Trumbull at the New England Championships in Maine. We are so proud of all of our student athletes! Let’s go Eagles! 💛🖤

Congratulations to the extraordinary Class of 2026! All 554 graduates have earned this day through years of hard work, resilience, growth, and achievement, and we are deeply grateful to the families, friends, faculty, and staff who supported them along the way.

We are also proud to announce our Valedictorian, Rithik Gunda, who will be heading to Duke University to study Economics, and our Salutatorian, Aleksandra Fedorov, who will be continuing her academic journey at Princeton University studying Civil & Environmental Engineering. Way to go, Rithik and Aleksandra! 💛🖤

🎓 2026 Graduation Update 🎓

To our THS families: A quick but important update as we prepare for today’s big celebration. After closely watching the forecast, we made the decision to move our Class of 2026 Commencement up by 30 minutes. The ceremony will now begin at 4:15 PM on our field. We are so glad we can still give our seniors the outdoor ceremony they deserve, surrounded by their family members.

Graduates, please report through Door 11 by 3:15 PM. Guests, stadium gates open at 3:15 PM.

A few reminders: you may bring a sealed water bottle, umbrellas are welcome but please avoid the bleachers with them, and no smoking or ci**rs on the new turf.

Final exams begin tomorrow. Please take a moment to review the schedule and make sure you know when your exams are scheduled.

A few reminders for students:

✅ Arrive to school on time and ready to begin promptly at the start of your exam.
✅ Bring any required materials for your exam.
✅ Get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast before testing.
✅ Finish strong and give your best effort on each exam.

Congratulations to Trumbull High’s Baseball Team! They won the FCIAC Championship tonight and the FCIAC MVP award went to junior Andrew Valentino. Great job to all the players and coaches!

We are thrilled to announce THS’s Teacher of the Year, Danielle Avery, and Paraeducator of the Year, Stacie Bisciglia Sigona! Selected from over 60 nominations submitted by students, families, and colleagues, these two educators exemplify the dedication, compassion, and commitment that define Trumbull High School. Mrs. Avery empowers students to advocate for themselves and approaches her role with deep empathy and a sincere desire to help all students thrive. Mrs. Bisciglia Sigona meets students where they are, providing firm and supportive guidance while maintaining a cheerful and welcoming presence that students and staff alike gravitate toward. Congratulations to two very deserving honorees!

Tuesday May 19th, B Day.
Due to the heat advisory and forecasted high temperatures, all schools will follow our early dismissal schedule tomorrow, May 19th.

We are following the B Day schedule tomorrow. After school activities and field trips are currently on as planned.

On Friday night, over 25 students & faculty took the stage for a lively crowd at the 3rd annual Trumbull’s Got Talent show! From heavy metal to tap dancing, these performers left it all on the stage and raised nearly $2000 for My Friend Abby & LivFree. Congrats to organizers Ms. Brienza & Mr. Doyle and to everyone who participated for a great cause. See you at next year’s show!

Congratulations to Social Studies teacher Katie Boland! She was recognized last night in Washington, DC as the 2026 Street Law Classroom Champion Award recipient for her outstanding work in civic and law-related education. Ms. Boland has inspired students to think critically, find their voice, and become informed and engaged citizens through her teaching of law, government, and constitutional studies. We are incredibly proud of Ms. Boland and this well-deserved honor!
