As the school year comes to a close, we're reflecting on the incredible accomplishments of our students and staff!
Congratulations to Erin Barlow (PDS), recipient of the 2026 Mauri Muri Award at the Associated Teachers of Mathematics in Connecticut (ATOMIC) Conference, recognizing excellence in mathematics education and leadership.
We are also proud of Dr. Cheryl Kerison and Six to Six Interdistrict Magnet School student Xavier who presented to more than 70 educators on "Conceptual Understanding and Procedural Fluency: Implementing the Why and How of Mathematics Instruction." Their session highlighted hands-on strategies for strengthening math instruction and featured Xavier's unique perspective as a student learner.
