Before the countless records, the championship banners, and the athletic memories, there were the people who helped to build SJ Athletics.... and one man stands out - Jimmy Olayos '76. Congrats on your induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame!

Before the countless records, the championship banners, and the athletic memories, there were the people who helped to build SJ Athletics.

Jim Olayos '76 served as Athletic Director from 2002-2013. Under his leadership the athletics department saw a tremendous upgrade in facilities and an expansion of the athletics staff, while fourteen state championship and six FCIAC championship banners were hung in the gymnasium. In 2010 St. Joseph was named the top high school athletic program in Connecticut by Sports Illustrated.

On October 9, we will proudly celebrate Jim as one of the newest members of the St. Joseph High School Athletic Hall of Fame. We invite you to join us as we honor the athletes, coaches, and teams whose accomplishments helped shape the legacy of SJ Athletics.
