It’s snapping turtle egg laying time, and this Trumbull Mama chose our mud mountain activity space for her nest. Please avoid this marked area when you come to TNAC 🐢💚🥚

Come visit the TNAC table at this week's Trumbull Farmers Market!

Two more days until we are back at Twin Brooks Park for the opening of the 2026 Trumbull Farmers' Market!

The season kicks off this Thursday, June 4th, at 4:00 PM, and our vendors are ready to welcome you with the best local produce, baked goods, sweet treats, specialty food items and hot dinner options.

Be sure to check our website to preview this week's full lineup and map out your favorites—some vendors join us weekly, while others rotate throughout the season: https://www.trumbull-ct.gov/1018/Trumbull-Farmers-Market

Trumbull Nature & Arts Center will be our community guest this week and The Sawtelles will be performing under the music tent.

Many thanks to Middlebrook Farms at Trumbull for donating reusable tote bags for our opening day.

See you at the park!

We had a busy day at TNAC on Saturday! A huge thank you to the Trumbull Conservation Commission's Vine Team for removing invasive plants. Plus, a fun time was had by all at our annual Fishing 101 program!

This morning, we spotted our first dragonfly of the season at TNAC, along with a beautiful native hobblebush in bloom. Pictured: Female common whitetail dragonfly (plathemis lydia) and Hobblebush (viburnum lantanoides).

TNAC sometimes gets calls from caring residents who find an animal that seems to need help. While we don't handle animal rescues, we recommend the CT DEEP website for valuable information about how to deal with distressed wildlife:
