Blackberries from our garden!!
The plant is 2 years old. We rescued it at the end of last season and never thought it’d live!
It is thriving this year! We learned that blackberries grow best in temperatures around 80-85 degrees. And, the plant is called a “cane”!

Did you know that blackberries are high in cancer-fighting antioxidants, fiber and vitamin C? They are also a good source of manganese, and vitamins E and K!

Wow! It’s been one busy summer so far!
Engineering is one of my favorite subjects!
This week I built an entire dunk tank from scratch for the camp kids!

Hello! Welcome to my page! Here’s a little bit about who I am…
✏️ I am a homeschooling mama of a 9 year old and this is our third year of learning at home. I align his curriculum with the district goals and objectives and we integrate many authentic experiences.

We have 2 cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 a dog 🐶 and a Guinea pig 🐹!
I am a Childcare Head Teacher and the director of the STEAM program at summer camp. I also teach a Mad Scientists class at the YMCA. 🔬
📚I have been tutoring students ages 5-13 since 2004 when I graduated with my Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education. I then went on to obtain my Master’s degree in Education. In addition, I hold a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. 📜
I taught literacy and mathematics across many grades in Westport and Stratford, and worked for the Superintendent in Easton.
My experiences all lend to a well-rounded expertise that allows me to customize an amazing educational experience for children to learn and grow beyond their goals!
