🚒🔥 Fire Safety Week in the 3s! 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒
Our little firefighters in Mrs Nivison’s 3s class had a fantastic time learning about fire safety through stories, songs, games, imaginative play, and hands-on activities!
From practicing Stop, Drop & Roll and calling 9-1-1 with a pretend phone to driving fire trucks, exploring sensory bins, and creating fire-safety art, our 3s were busy learning important safety skills while having lots of fun! 🚒🎨 The class also discussed about firefighters as community helpers and how we can show God’s love by caring for and helping others. ❤️ What a fun way to learn, play, and stay safe! 🔥👩‍🚒🚒

🍎 Happy World Teacher’s Day! 🍎

Today we celebrate and thank the amazing teachers at Holy Cross Christian Preschool! ❤️

Thank you for the love, patience, dedication, and joy you bring to our students each and every day. You do so much more than teach- you nurture little hearts, build confidence, encourage kindness, and help our students grow in faith and in love.

We are so blessed to have such a caring and dedicated team at HCCP. Thank you for all you do! 📚

Last week our Pre-k 5’s class had so much fun learning through hands-on activities! We went on a letter hunt around the classroom, finding letters and crossing them off or writing them down as we discovered them.

Since we are learning all about the season of fall, the children also had fun making their very own fall hats! 🍂

Lastly, they loved using a variety of materials to create their own pretend cakes. It was so much fun watching their creativity and imaginations come to life! 🎂

🍎 The 4’s class ended our APPLE week with some delicious cooking fun! 🍏
Our friends got to roll up their sleeves and make homemade applesauce and apple cake! What a yummy way to wrap up our week of learning all about apples! 🧑‍🍳 👩‍🍳

We had so much fun during our All About Me unit! ❤️
The children explored what makes each of them unique through a variety of fun and creative projects. They created their own self-portraits, which is one of my favorite projects of the year! It’s always so special to see each child’s personality shine through their artwork. 🎨
We also used bubble wrap to create a colorful background for another project and made handprints that will become part of our classroom Friendship Tree. 🌳
It was a wonderful way to celebrate each child’s individuality while also reminding us how special we are together as a class. We are each uniquely created by God, and we are so thankful for the friendships growing in our classroom! ❤️

🐻❤️ A BEAR-Y fun-filled week in the 3s class! Kicking off things by celebrating National Teddy Bear Day on September 9th, they enjoyed bear-themed stories, songs, sensory play, building, imaginative play, and lots of creative art! Show-and-Tell was a special highlight as our 3s proudly shared their favorite stuffed animals while practicing communication, listening, taking turns, and building confidence. ❤️ We are so thankful to watch our 3s learn, grow, and build friendships each day. God has blessed our 3s classroom with so many wonderful little hearts! 🙏❤️
