why permits and inspections are required for events , I know lots of start up stage supplies skip the engineering certification and the as built on site inspection and sign off by a licensed engineering firm to save time, money and effort. some even deploy outdoor stages supported by indoor genie lifts or other crank up towers that are not designed to handle dynamic loads like wind or they are for lifting not securing stuff overhead or undersized or missing ballasts with steel cable tie downs
production companies BE RESPONSIBLE and insist on adequate funds to cover safety, promoters DO IT RIGHT yes it cost more but what are lives worth> https://festivaltopia.com/13-backstage-rules-that-started-after-one-disaster-and-never-got-dropped?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=referral&utm_id=120250609079750484&utm_content=120250609087710484&utm_term=120250609080270484&utm_campaign=120250609079750484&fbclid=IwY2xjawU3BMFleHRuA2FlbQEwAHBkb2YBYWRpZAGrN0q3OY9kc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHi5olL4jrc-8fAsBJ1X-6YAayLV5nMx1r5VvlD8sbZ82zLEc6zTwN_sLkdEE_aem_hupbG3fy8f68gUhSUfzLwQ

tonight my wife and I celebrate and reflect on the past season of shows we were part of, the struggles and accomlishments as a committed couple and renew or commitment to making our lives the best we can, our teeth might be failing but our hearts are true , we light a fire and I make a pitcher of Margaritas to cap off the 2026 season. may the future be as wonderful as possible , in love hope springs eternal
