Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation The Excellence in Education Foundation invests in students and classrooms within TTUSD.

Excellence in Education Foundation was founded in 1986 as a business/education partnership. The Foundation's efforts are targeted to enhance the education of 4,000 students in a school district that encompasses 12 schools in a geographic area of 720 square miles. The Foundation fundraises and provides grants and resources to the educational community.

This is what community investment in education looks like! Our board was proud to present grant funding for the 2026/27 school year, supporting innovative classroom projects and hands-on learning opportunities across TTUSD.

From literacy and STEM to the arts, outdoor education, world languages, career technical education, and social-emotional learning, these grants will help teachers bring creative ideas to life and give students meaningful opportunities to learn, explore, and grow.
