Less than 4 weeks left until closes for the season. The last day to experience a glider adventure in 2025 is Saturday, September 27th. The next opportunity will be in May 2026.

A Big Milestone for Youth Aviation at Soar Truckee!

Ethan Gallagher, a 16-year-old standout from the TTSA Youth STEM Line Crew Intern and Flight Academy Program, passed his Private Pilot Glider checkride on Saturday!

Ethan joined the program at age 13 in 2022, soloed last season, and served this year as a Lead Line Crew Intern.

Congratulations, Ethan! Your hard work, passion, and leadership inspire us all. The entire TTSA community—staff, instructors, volunteers, and fellow interns—are proud to be part of your soaring journey.

Dan Gudgel was Ethan's DPE, and the photo says it all—two big smiles and one incredible accomplishment.

Soaring Season has begun in the Sierras! Opening day for Soar Truckee (TTSA), on Saturday, May 24, 2025, is fast approaching!

Come soar with us at TTSA/Soar Truckee! Take a scenic glider ride for one or two people. Learn to fly a glider with a lesson. Take a tow if you're a licensed glider pilot and have your own glider.

We will be answering the phone starting on May, 19. Call us for reservations at 530-587-6702; also check www.soartruckee.org for more information.
