💝 THURSDAY 12/15 - It's that special time again this year for Mr. D's annual Coat & Sock Drive. Do you have any warm coats, jackets you would like to donate? Warm winter socks are also very needed. Each year Mr. D hears requests for more socks! *Brand new packaged* socks preferred. 101.5 FM KTKE www.truckeetahoeradio.com will be assisting again this year collecting all donations at the station from
7AM -7PM. **PLEASE NOTE the station has moved to a new location** 1890 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, CA. You will be able to make your donations at the drive-thru drop off donation center they'll have set up right in front of the building.

Thank you to our Tahoe community for providing warmth to those in need this winter season. 🥰

Do you love math? How about becoming a math tutor? Join our incredible and fun group of educators in downtown Truckee.

A teaching credential is not required, however knowledge of the following math classes and experience with high school aged students is.

Position: Math tutor for high school students: Integrated 1, 2, 3, Pre Calc, AP Calc, and AP Stats.

This is a Part-time Position:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-7 pm (with potentially an earlier 1 pm start)

FREE Pizza + YOU = Community Benches Sign up for a shift here: https://shanemcconkey.org/dont-drop-the-top/ Join the Community Sort! September 24 and 25 from 9am until 3pm (two shifts per day 9am-12pm and 12pm-3pm) at the Donner Trail Elementary Gymnasium for a Community Volunteer Sort Day. We will sort all caps and lids by color before we ship them off to our bench maker. Pizza, snacks hydration will be provided, and we will raffle off prizes throughout the day and there will be some great swag for volunteers!

Inspired by the winning 2020 EcoChallenge project, the Shane McConkey Foundation has partnered with local organizations and businesses throughout Truckee to keep this amazing project going. Community members can drop tops in collection bins throughout Truckee. Then individuals and businesses sponsor the production of a bench made from the tops to be placed in the location of their choosing.
