While we are all busy behind the scenes and our students are enjoying this beautiful summer we are reminiscing about an amazing year behind us.

We wrapped it up with our traditional Flower dances and a community potluck. We have some many new things coming up for next year!

🎻🌲 Summer is almost here and we have TWO camps you won’t want to miss!

🌮Camp Aventura — Spanish language, Mexican culture, forest play, cooking, music & dance for ages 4–7. Led by the one and only Señor Gio.

🎻Fun with Fiddle, Theater & Art — Now in its 14th year with Ms. Julie. A week of fiddling, performing, and creating for ages 4–13, wrapping up with a live performance, art show, and reception. 🎶🎭🖌️

Both camps run Mon–Fri, on our beautiful forested campus in Truckee.

Our Flying Squirrels and Dragonflies kicked off the season of land tending at our 40 acres forest campus!

Practical work is a huge part of our curriculum and what better way to teach children teamwork, care, and responsibility than to work on a project like this. The children will be cleaning up, mapping out, and landscaping the area in the weeks to come. As this project takes shape, we are so excited to see our students be part of something timeless.

This project truly requires head, heart, and hands — and we cannot wait to see it come alive. 🌿🪵
