🎉🐾 PERFECT ATTENDANCE CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION!🐾🎉

We are thrilled to celebrate 222 Hillcrest students who achieved PERFECT ATTENDANCE for the first nine weeks!

We were able to enjoy our sno-cones 🍧, and the fun isn’t over yet! Due to Friday’s rainy weather, our extra recess celebration will take place when we return from Fall Break! 🎉

These students showed up every day—ready to learn, grow, and give their best!

Every day at school is another opportunity to build skills, make connections, and move one step closer to success.

We are incredibly proud of these Cougars for reaching this goal! 🥳

222 students. One awesome accomplishment. WAY TO GO, COUGARS!

💙❤️ YOU MATTER at Hillcrest!❤️💙

Our Cougars had a wonderful time celebrating You Matter Day! Wednesday was a special reminder that every student and staff member who walks through our doors is important, valued, and an essential part of our Hillcrest family.

We loved seeing everyone come together to spread kindness, encouragement, and positivity throughout our school. Students celebrated with a popsicle from Mrs. Meagan Gregory, our guidance counselor.🫶

Always remember: You are seen. You are valued. You belong. YOU MATTER!❤️💙

This week, we are excited to celebrate Mrs. Deanna Wilson and Mrs. Melody Baker! ❤️💙

These two phenomenal educators bring an incredible wealth of experience, knowledge, and talent to Hillcrest. Their dedication to students and passion for teaching have made a lasting impact on countless children throughout their careers.

We are so blessed to have their expertise at Hillcrest as they continue to inspire young learners, build strong foundations, and shape the minds of our future. 📚✨

🌎🪐 Fifth Grade is Out of This World! 🚀✨

Our fifth graders have been busy exploring our solar system! After learning about and researching the planets, their order from the Sun, and their sizes in comparison to one another, students put their knowledge to work by creating their very own solar system models! ☀️🌎🪐

One of the best parts of this project was seeing each student’s unique personality and creativity shine through in their project. Even though they were all working with the same solar system, no two creations looked exactly alike—just like our students! 💫

We love giving our students opportunities to show what they’ve learned while also celebrating the individuality that makes each of them special! 🔭✨
