🧤 Marielle Jesmain had an incredible game in goal!

Coach Engster said it best: “The girls worked incredibly hard tonight, embraced trying new positions, and really came together as a team. It was great to see their confidence and teamwork continue to grow.”

The Tamarac Booster Club is honored to continue one of our most meaningful traditions: “My Jersey; Your Impact.”

Each season, our senior athletes take time to reflect on their journey and recognize a person at Tamarac who made a lasting difference in their lives. With gratitude and pride, they present their jersey and a pin to that individual — a simple gesture that carries a lifetime of meaning.

Today, we proudly honor our volleyball seniors, and the people who stood beside them, believed in them, and helped shape who they have become.

Our volleyball seniors chose;

Erin Lee- Miss Carroll and Mr. Luzinas. Erin chose Mis Carroll because she is so easy to talk to and will always give you the best advice. I look forward to seeing her everyday and she always finds a way to put a smile on my face even when I am having a horrible day! She also chose Mr. Luzinas because he is such a good teacher. He will help you with any problem you don't understand and won't stop until you understand the problem. He is also a very kind person, and she feels she can count on him to make her laugh!

Reagan Moore- Nurse Bader and Mrs. Fitzgerald. Reagan chose Nurse Bader I chose because she has the best attitude. She is always there for students! She was my coach during track and field and was by far my favorite. She is always prepared and knows what to do in any situation. She chose Mrs. Fitzgerald because she is an amazing teacher. You can tell she loves what she does. She has fun lesson plans and wants to see her students succeed. She says that every time she talks to Mrs. Fitzgerald she feels as though she has a genuine interest in her life and how she’s doing.

Toni DeLorenzo- Mrs. Danckwerth and Mr. Luzinas. Toni chose Mrs. Danckwerth because no matter what type of day someone is having she always finds a way to make you smile. She makes classes so much more fun and enjoyable. She also chose Mr. Luzinas because he always finds a way to make you laugh and she enjoys being in his class.

Makenna Ashe- Mr. Luzinas. Makenna chose to honor Mr. Luzinas because he is honest and believes in every student.

Caroline Painter- Mr. Burton and Mrs. Danckwerth. Caroline chose these two staff members because they continue to be great influences in school and make her a better student and person.

Mae McGrath- Mrs. Danckwerth and Mr. Olson. Mae chose to honor Mrs. Danckwerth and Mr. Olson I decided to choose both of these staff members because everyday without fail they bring a smile to my face and have always made me enjoy being in school. Both of these teachers constantly make school fun, interesting, and constantly relatable.

A heartfelt thank you to our seniors for participating, and a special thank you to Mrs. Danckwerth, Mr. Olson, Mr. Luzinas, Miss Carroll, Nurse Bader, Mrs. Fitzgerald and Mr. Burton for the positive impact you have made in our students’ lives.

The Tamarac Booster Club is honored to continue one of our most meaningful traditions: “My Jersey; Your Impact.”

Each season, our senior athletes take time to reflect on their journey and recognize a person at Tamarac who made a lasting difference in their lives. With gratitude and pride, they present their jersey and a pin to that individual — a simple gesture that carries a lifetime of meaning.

Today, we proudly honor our girls soccer seniors, and the people who stood beside them, believed in them, and helped shape who they have become.

Our girls soccer seniors chose;
Gwen Boyce- Mr. Luzinas. Gwen chose Mr. Luzinas because he always makes funny jokes to lighten up the day, and I cannot learn from another teacher the same way I learn from him. He is very easy to understand and always willing to help.

Kamryn Stemp- Mrs. Gelina. Kamryn chose to honor Mrs. Gelina because she always made sure I understood the topic we were learning in math class. She also finds ways to make the class more enjoyable for us and respected the class. Along with that, she always makes sure that we feel comfortable in class.

Summer Grieco- Mr. Burton. Summer chose Mr. Burton because he is one of the funniest people you will ever meet, and he brightens my day. He is a very good teacher to talk to for when you need to go to someone and he is very understanding.

Camilla Desso- Dr. Shepard. Camilla chose Dr. Shepard because he always goes out his way to make a genuine connection with his students which makes us feel valued. Dr. Shepard took a class that I was pretty sure I wasn't going to like and made it one of my favorite ones because of how much he loves the subject and his students. I'm also pretty jealous that he's been to a Harry Styles concert and I haven't 😉

Adelyn Bryson- Mr. Burton and Mrs. Gelina. Adelyn chose Mr. Burton because he never fails to make people laugh and never judges you for who you are.
Adelyn chose Mrs.Gelina because she is always there to listen when you need to talk or even when you need a quiet place to take a break.

Abiageal Maloney- Mrs. Danckwerth. Abiageal chose to honor Mrs. Danckwerth because she has helped her through some personal things, and is always a fun person to be around.

Keegan Blakesley- Mr. Burton. Keegan chose Mr. Burton because he has great energy and has influenced him in many ways in becoming a better person.

Jake Smith- Mrs. Bishop. Jake chose to honor Mrs. Bishop because he said she knows how to make everyone laugh and brings fun energy.

Sage Minibole- Mrs. Satalino. Sage chose Mrs. Satalino because he said she is always there for him when he needs her, and has been a huge help to him in and out of school.

Liam May- Mrs. Lanoue. Liam chose Mrs. Lanoue because she has always been kind to him and listens whenever he needs to talk to her about something important.

Other boys soccer seniors include Joel Kizza and Cooper Stritsman.
