We had such a special Picture Day today at St. Stephen Christian Preschool! 📸

From our tiniest little one at just 11 weeks old to our graduating preschoolers getting ready for kindergarten, it was a joy to see so many smiles and sweet moments captured.

We are so thankful for A Style Photography and the care Amanda showed in working with each child. We can’t wait to see all the beautiful photos!

With so much love in our hearts, our family wants to share that God is leading us into a new season of ministry. Serving First United Methodist Church in Sedalia has been a deep joy and a holy privilege. We have been loved, encouraged, shaped, and blessed by this church family in more ways than we can say. This place and these people will always be part of our story, and we will carry that love with us.

At the same time, we are full of excitement and gratitude as we say yes to what God is doing next. Bishop Farr has appointed me to serve St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Troy, Missouri, and I have accepted that appointment with joy. This appointment will officially take effect on July 1, which also means we still have a little more time to share with and cherish our First Church family in Sedalia. We are thankful for that gift.

We are thrilled for what is ahead. We are coming with hope, gratitude, and a deep love for Jesus, eager to serve, worship, build relationships, and join in the beautiful work God is already doing in and through St. Stephen United Methodist Church.

We believe Jesus is always making things new, always calling us forward in love, and always at work ahead of us. So while goodbyes are never easy, we step into this new chapter with faith and expectancy. We are thankful for First United Methodist Church, and we are genuinely excited to love the people of St. Stephen United Methodist Church and walk with them in the way of Jesus.

Thank you to everyone at First United Methodist Church who has prayed for us, supported us, and loved our family so well. We are incredibly grateful. We would love your prayers as the Wisener family prepares for this transition. More information about the transition will be coming in the days ahead.

Jesus is good, and we are trusting him with joy.
