4 tool bolting with hydraulic torque equipment today for the 3rd Period Construction Apprentices. 75 % reduction in time over single tool.

1- The Training Center will be closed for day and night classes Thursday August 6, 2026, through Monday August 10, 2026. We will resume our normal hours on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

2- We have 2-night classes starting on Monday August 17, 2026, at 5 PM. They both will run for 5 weeks.

1 st Period Apprentices putting the math to work. 1/2” NPS rolling 45 degree offset.

The last few class days’ work from the 2nd & 3rd Period Classes.
Equal spread offset with threaded pipe, equal spread tank offset with soldered copper, 3-piece 90 deg. Ell with 4”, heel support on 90 deg. Ell with hand cut pups tacked on, and an angle iron support with hand made U-bolt holding a 4” pup with hand cut bevels.

Material Handling in Basic Rigging today. Apprentices got to build a slide and a crotch with 4” X 6” X 4’-0” hardwood skids.
