Each year we celebrate the end of the school year with a Teddy Bear Picnic. We played parachute by class, played games, said goodbye to our teachers, listened to The Big Pumpkin (of course!!!) and released our butterflies!

Today our 4s class finished their alphabet Fridays with the letter “Z”.
Each Friday is a designated letter day and our 4s students bring in an object and photo that starts with the letter of the day. With that they create “The Best Book in All of Troy,” titled “ABC.” This week was our last Friday in class where we ended with Z - lots of zippers and zebras today!

Today our 4s visited the Troy Fire Station #2 and learned about fire safety! Thanks to the firefighters for letting us see all of your cool equipment! The 3s will have a firefighter visit tomorrow!

This week during open play, our 4s created a scarecrow from toys found in the classroom. This is a great demonstration of how our students learn in a play based environment, building cooperative skills in creative ways!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from TCP! Our kiddos are enjoying a green sensory table this week in class! Our sensory tables are always SO creative and popular with our students.

Our 4 year old preschool class took a field trip to Troy Gymnastics today to play together!
Our preschool program has so many field trip opportunities - especially in our 4 year old class! We have also visited Upland Hills Farm, the Sterling Heights Nature Center, and the Buffalo Wild Wings Ice Arena.
All field trips are included in school tuition.

Thank you so much to our community, friends and family for supporting TCP at our Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser today!
We were able to raise $13,326 for the preschool! This is 66% of our fundraising goal for the event, which is incredible.
Thank you to those who donated, who came by, and who donated raffle and auction items, and to all those who helped plan, set up, staff, and break down the event - we appreciate you!
