I had a great time networking at Tercer Jueves Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce sponsored by LaSalle Construction Services and hosted by Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights

It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and meet with new people as well. There is something for everyone here. Various industries and business owners in attendance. The chamber has truly cultivated a community that leads and inspires.

Another successful and inspiring evening of networking and building relationships with the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. It was certainly a pleasure to listen and meet with the CEO of LaSalle Construction Services and the community relations director for the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights amongst many other professionals at the event. Even Living Simply through Education with Cathy had a chance to share about our ongoing efforts to bring financial education to the community and support and partner with many businesses

My name is Patrick De Leon and I am a proud advocate for financial literacy and financial education. My goal is to connect with many people like you who may be going through some challenges.

It is okay to talk about this. Many of us did not have the privilege to learn how to manage our money when we went to school. Some of you are unsure what to do and don’t know who to trust. Google has become your safe zone. But let’s be honest with ourselves.

No one is more interested in your financial future than you. The government, the bank, your employer, none of these are responsible for you to succeed. It’s you who has control of your future.
