The Office of Community Education at Hudson Valley Community College offers a wide range of educational, professional and recreational credit-free classes for everyone from kids to seniors. Highlights include fitness classes, arts classes for kids and special interest classes like motorcycle riding or financial planning for retirement. Last Friday, HVCC Workforce Development & Community Education was invited to an apprenticeship signing event at NY Creates in Albany, NY.

NY Creates, in partnership with Micron Technology, onboarded 10 new apprentices in the Industrial Manufacturing Technician trade. Each of the 10 apprentices will be working hard in their careers with dedicated mentors and also taking a handful of courses at HVCC.

There’s truly nothing more heartfelt than receiving a hand-stamped card made with love. Whether you’re new to stamping or a seasoned crafter, you’ll enjoy creating meaningful cards your friends and family will treasure. Come stamp, relax, and leave with cards ready to brighten someone’s day! In each class you will create three cards with envelopes. Please bring a pair of sharp scissors and adhesive, such as craft glue or a tape runner, with you to class.
