All 7th grade students are required to have the Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines. The nurse has been reviewing immunizations at your child’s school and found that some children are missing one or both of the following immunizations: Tdap and Meningococcal. Please make arrangements to get this for your child. It is a state requirement that immunizations must be up to date. Your child can receive these vaccines at the School-Based Health Center, if you fill out the consent form and return to the school, or please contact your child's doctor's office and make an appointment. The nurse sent letters with students on Friday to all students who were still missing the shots. If the required information is not received by the end of the school day, September 9th, 2026, your child will be excluded from school until immunizations are up-to-date. Please feel free to contact the nurse at the school with any questions or concerns. Students are not allowed to attend school or any sports events if their vaccines are not up-to-date. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to us at 910-428-3278.
