🎉Welcoming New Leadership to Hudson Valley Community College! 🎓
We are excited to introduce two new leaders who will help shape the future of HVCC. Please join us in welcoming Michael Markou and Gerard Marino to the HVCC leadership team!
Michael Markou will serve as the Executive Director of the Capital District Educational Opportunity Center (EOC). Michael brings extensive experience from Capital Region BOCES and Bryant & Stratton College, with a proven track record in career and technical education and student services.
Gerard Marino returns to his roots as our new Vice President for Administration. An HVCC alumnus, Gerard brings over two decades of SUNY leadership experience, most recently serving as Assistant VP and Controller at UAlbany. He will oversee critical operations ranging from Finance and HR to Public Safety and IT.
President Michael Brophy celebrates the growing leadership team saying, “These appointments represent a strong step forward for the college. Their combined vision and expertise will help us continue to meet the evolving needs of our students and the Capital District community."
