Update: With victories over New Buffalo from Michigan and Conway Christian from Arkansas, the TC Academic Team notched their first ever wins at a national tournament!!

The TCHS Academic Team is in Indianapolis competing in the LIQBA National Championships! So proud of Derek, Kathleen, Kamea, Anna Ray & Noah!

⚾️ GAME UPDATE ⚾️

Today’s Varsity Baseball game between Troy Christian and Northeastern has been postponed.

The game has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 28, at 5:00 PM.

A decision regarding the game facility will be made by 11:00 AM tomorrow to determine if the game will remain at Troy Christian or be moved to Northeastern. Additional information will be communicated as it becomes available.

Congratulations to Paul “Pete” Ruland on an incredible 50 years of teaching!

Mr. Ruland was presented with a special award today by Ohio Representative Jonathan Newman in recognition of his five decades in education.

Throughout his career at Conneaut City Schools, Troy High School, and Troy Christian High School, Mr. Ruland has taught everything from Beginning Algebra to Honors Calculus. Generations of students have experienced his sense of humor, unique teaching style, and love for helping students learn.

After 50 years in the classroom, Mr. Ruland is retiring, and he will be greatly missed at Troy Christian. From his incredible hat collection to the way he connected with students, he has made a lasting impact on our school community.

Thank you, Mr. Ruland, for faithfully teaching and investing in so many students. You have made math class unforgettable! Congratulations on your retirement! 🦅💚
