Defining the full definition of being a dj may seem very easy to do. Some may say a dj is nothing else but a disk jockey, or someone who just spin records/cds/ipods. When it comes to entertaining the crowd and moving them like they have never been moved before, Dj La’Selle knows what to do and how to do it with no ease. Born (raised) and currently residing in Troy, AL, Randy La’Selle Williams has
always had an ear for music ranging from the 70s on up to today’s top billboard hits. Growing up around other djs and examining how they entertain the crowd was one huge inspiration. At the age of only 13, La’Selle was giving the opportunity by his late brother, Travis A. Stringer, to dj his wedding reception. Few years later after entering Troy State University, also known as Troy University, the dj business began to pick back up during his senior year. Giving another opportunity to show his talent at his first college party, the brothers of Omega Psi Phi put La’Selle to the test. From that single party, the game changed with other Fraternities/Sororities wanting to book later dates with this young entertainer. After graduating college and obtaining a degree in Business Administration, La’Selle started focusing on his talent constantly and perfecting his craft to a level where he wanted his name and style to be well known, in and around his town. After all that sacrificing and hard work, he was later discovered by Charles “Uncle Charles” Davis. Uncle Charles, who’s a dj/producer himself, took La’Selle under his wing where they further started what is known today as “:AM Music”, along with other up and coming Rap/R&B artists. After their collaboration, both individuals started rocking shows together and at the same time, made their name even bigger than what it already was. La’Selle’s next goal is to expand his horizon with other djs in other states, possibly countries, and continue to breathe/think/live hip-hop to the fullest. With this dj’s ambition, his name and style is bound to reach an area near your city. “:AM Music” as a family will continue to produce music that every individual can relate to. Be on the look out for that “1bad representa…Dj La’Selle,” and thanks for the support.
