To my A+ family,

In the next few weeks, you will start to see some new faces at the front desk. Due to health issues, I have sadly decided to step away from the business. It was not an easy decision. I have tried every possible way to think how I could keep running the office; but I cannot provide the exceptional service you expect and deserve while concentrating on taking care of myself. My health needs to take priority.

I have enjoyed my time behind the desk working with each parent, and absolutely have loved working with your children and watching them grow and become more confident. I have had the opportunity to build some great friendships with parents, and I want to say thank you for your support and prayers.

I did not want to close the doors to tutoring services because I feel more than ever there is a need to bring our youth back to speed after remote learning; but I had to know that if I chose someone to take over they would have to have the same desire to see children, our future, succeed in their education. I wanted someone that I could trust to continue the dream Jody and I had when we took over A+ Tutoring. Serving Troy and surrounding communities in the best tutoring and giving your child the learning tools they need to be successful adults has been our goal.

Some of you already know my tutor, Jon Fowler. Along with his wife Emily, they will continue the business. I am sure they will be introducing themselves in the next few weeks.

It is with a heavy heart that I need to share that my business partner and co-owner of A+ Tutoring, Jody Spears, has passed away. On Wednesday, December 22, Jody lost her fight with Covid.
I will reach out to parents individually with further information as it becomes available.

A+ Tutoring in Troy is looking for a dependable tutor for Pre-K and up. We are looking for a dependable individual that can commit to one to four nights a week to teach reading, writing and general math.
We are also looking for a dependable individual to teach upper math; Algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry and calculus.
We would prefer individuals that are or have been licensed to teach or has a bachelors degree and loves to teach and work with kids. Flexible, part time, evening schedule.
