Where does the food come from for Buddy Bags?
Food for the program is gathered from your donations of food and finance. In order to feed all of our students in need, it is also necessary to supplement those donations with a purchase from local grocery stores.

What is Buddy Bags?
Buddy Bags is a program started by the Lincoln County R-III School District in 2011, providing food for students/families in the district who may need a little extra help feeding their families on the weekends. Each bag supplies a child in the program with enough food for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 4 snacks for the weekend.

Please join us at the Back to School Bash, this Thursday from 4-7 pm at Main Street Elementary/Clonts Field. We are incredibly grateful to our generous community partners - their sponsorships fund the free school supplies that will be passed out to LCR3 students!

Thank you to our Back to School Bash sponsors for making this year's event possible!

See you Thursday at Main Street Elementary between 4 and 7 pm.

Did you know that you can drop off food donations in our community any day of the week? Yep! If you are cleaning out your pantry and find some items that we can use, drop them at these places. If you are going to the store and have an extra $5-10 and can pick up some items for us, do it and drop them at one of these places!
Thank you!
