Russell Sage College - Democracy Matters

Russell Sage College - Democracy Matters Russell Sage College Democracy Matters chapter motivates students to reclaim their voice in politics.

Democracy Matters is a non-partisan organization that focuses on getting big money out of politics and get the people back in it. The organization focuses on allowing students to organize "campaigns" on campus to get more people aware of the corruption that takes place in politics and that they CAN change it. We believe that our representatives should do what they were elected to do, represent us the people, and not allow big businesses and/or big money to sway their allegiance from their constituents.
