Congrats to our alumna Andre!
Congratulations to Albany Medical Center's newest DAISY Award winner, Andre Stanfield, RN, from the Coronary Care Unit! Andre was nominated by a patient’s family member who shared how his compassion, patience, and dedication made a meaningful difference during a challenging hospital stay. Throughout the patient’s time in the CCU, Andre consistently treated them with dignity and kindness, taking the time to learn about who they were beyond their diagnosis. He found thoughtful ways to provide comfort, kept family members informed, and created a sense of trust and reassurance during a difficult time. One family member wrote that while they knew their loved one was receiving high-quality clinical care, they also knew they were in the hands of a “high-quality person.” Thank you, Andre, for embodying the values of compassionate, patient-centered care every day.
