RPI's Lally School of Management helped lead the global conversation on quantum AI this month. 🌏

From April 6–8, an interdisciplinary RPI delegation chaired by Thilanka Munasinghe spearheaded the "Quantum Computing – Artificial Intelligence for Industry Applications and Scientific Discovery" (QC-AI) workshop at the IEEE International Conference on Quantum Communications, Networking, and Computing in Kobe, Japan. The workshop brought together collaborators from NASA, Virginia Tech, Imperial College London, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Wells Fargo, and more. They're bridging quantum computing, AI, and business to tackle real-world challenges in finance, healthcare, and climate science.

With opening remarks from world-renowned AI pioneer Prof. Jim Hendler and a keynote from Technion's Prof. Netanel Lindner, the event showcased the kind of cross-disciplinary, high-impact work that defines Rensselaer. This is what happens when management, science, and computing come together under one roof.
