A small fire was reported in the TBHS kitchen this afternoon. There were minimal staff on site; the building was evacuated, and the fire was quickly extinguished. Thank you to our local first responders for arriving on campus quickly. Preliminary reports indicate the fire started due to an electrical issue in a dishwasher motor.

This afternoon's volleyball practice will be moved to the Ninth Grade Center. No other changes to scheduled activities today at this time.

The Hawk Point Elementary School expansion is officially open! Thank you to all who joined us before the open house last night to celebrate the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new portion of HPE!

This project was made possible thanks to our community's support of the April 2025 Proposition KIDS no tax rate increase bond issue. The expansion includes state-of-the-art grade level classrooms, a tornado safe shelter, a secure entry vestibule, and an updated main office and nurse's office. Renovations were also completed in the original portion of the building, including moving the library to the main floor and making it accessible to all!
