At Bethel Academy, we believe education is formative as students grow not only in knowledge, but in knowledge that forms them in Christ-like maturity and wisdom. Therefore, we seek to partner with parents to teach students to pursue living virtuous Christ-like lives that serves others through leading well. Here a few of our young men took initiative by resetting our chapel space for a ministry that will be using it over the weekend. Great job, gentlemen!

There's always something fun and new to discover at Bethel Academy! Here Mrs. Bastilla's class took some time in Science to plant some classroom plants that they'll water and watch grow.

As we partner with parents in education, we know God will give the increase of seeing students grow in Christ-like maturity and wisdom. As Paul said, "I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth." (1 Corinthians 3:6-7)

On this World's Teachers' Day, we express gratitude for our dedicated faculty who inspire student learning through our school's core values (partnership, imagination, worship, and discipline), which are formed through the pursuit of the three transcendentals: Goodness, Beauty, and Truth, as well as the pursuit of the Transcendent One Himself.

In Humanities, Primary B is working on memorizing all 50 states, their capitals, and important facts about each state! They enjoyed this speed drill to see how quickly they could assemble the states on a map puzzle. Students will then turn that knowledge into a project from their learning where they will showcase a particular state of their interest.

Though Fall has just begun, our students were excited as they learned the title of this year's Christmas program in music today! They sampled the musical selections and sang a couple of the new arrangements. While Mrs. Sharon and Mrs. Ruthie claim they're not professionals, they had our students sounding wonderful!
