Students enjoyed the music lab today with Pastor J with our new student learning keyboards that were donated to the school recently. Students learned the various notes of a C scale as well as the concept of flats and sharps. They even had a fun jam session of their own by discovering and using the various sounds.

Today, young historians in Mr. Martin's Humanities Class learned about various characteristics of history such as change over time, continuity, context, causality, and complexity. Students had to investigate two pictures of the St. Louis Riverfront, note their observations, and draw conclusions. One student astutely noticed the way Busch Stadium and the Arch grounds looked, helping his group to know which picture was older. The skills they learn this week will serve them well all year as they learn through great works of literature. They can't wait to start their first book later this week! Job well done, Upper Primary!
