This season looked different. It wasn’t filled with the usual hardware or highlight reels… but it was filled with heart. 💙⚽️

We faced adversity from the first whistle to the last — tough competition, new challenges, injuries and moments where things just didn’t go our way. But through it all, these young ladies kept showing up. They learned to compete when confidence was low, to support each other when things got messy, and to push forward even when the scoreboard didn’t.

Proud of this team for showing up, grinding through the tough moments, and giving me plenty to reflect on during this well-earned break… preferably somewhere with no whistles or cleats in sight. 😂⚽️❤️

Next season: plot twist loading… 💪✨

STOP AND SAVE THIS ONE! 🛑 Striking a ball properly is so important in todays game and unfortunately often times see the technique lacking in all ages! Some confuse technique with power and its two very different things! You may be able to generate power because of size or strength, but without the right technique you arent going to maximize not only power but accuracy! Without technique, it doesnt matter how much power you generate because you wont be able to control it! Two common areas we see that need attention are: ▪️ THE APPROACH: You have to have a slight bend to your approach but often we see players either be too straight or too much of an angle which wont allow you to find the accuracy or the power when striking ▪️ OUR BODY: Remember the intention is to put all that power and strength through the ball so the way our body goes is crucial to maximizing your power. Lean too far back and you end up leaving alot behind Try these two improvements today to help your striking!
