CHHS Cross Country - Montgomery Trailblazer 2026

CHHS XC had a GREAT showing at the first race of the season. Most of these students were first time XC runners and everyone did a great job! Some highlights are listed below:

Girls 2.1 MILE RACE: 2nd place overall!
Eislynn Langenberg, 2nd place, CHHS all time #2
Lincy Boutwell- 3rd place, CHHS all time #3
Jakayla Oliver- 9th place

Boys 2.1 MILE RACE: 6th place overall!
Bryant Barron- 9th place

And with over 270 competitors and 20+ teams the varsity results:
Boys 3.1 MILE VARSITY RACE: 9th place overall!
Ellis Averett- 58th, new PR!
Charlie Burton- 77th place
Wyatt Lindsey: 78th place

Charles Henderson opened the season with a 38-13 road win over Hope Christian, led by Kellen Stewart’s three touchdown passes and rushing score.

🧡💙 We are so grateful for the many we have throughout our community! Your impact on the young people of our school is felt in a mighty way.

Thank you Troy First Methodist Church Youth Ministry for breakfast and a devotional for the CHHS Football Team, Cheerleaders, and Coaches this morning! 🧡💙📣Join the CHHS Cheerleaders for our 2026 Youth Cheer Clinic!

💲 $40 per child

Participants will spend the afternoon learning cheers, chants, and a dance with the Charles Henderson Cheerleaders!

Whether your child is brand new to cheer or already loves to perform, this clinic is designed for all skill levels!

📣 Cost includes a clinic T-shirt AND the opportunity to perform with the cheerleaders during pregame at our home football game on Friday, October 2nd! 🏈
